I'm starting to feel more confident about using my new (used) kiln. It's computerized, so I can't just flip a switch when I see it is firing unevenly. Results-wise I haven't actually had any bad firings, but there have definitely been some panicky moments. Now I understand it better, have made friends with the operation manual, and figured out a couple of programs that seem to work- without the panic. (Hope I didn't just jinx myself.)
