It was "glasses off" to brush black engobe around the intricate ins and outs of the ginkgo leaves. Another coat will go on after bisque firing. Yellow engobe and clear glaze will go on the leaves at that time, also.
Some sunshine coming in the window might have shown the textures better, but it's been rain, rain, rain. I had a lot more ideas for pendants, but had to stop somewhere- have some commissions waiting. And, I have to face the fact that I'm going to be handicapped by my lack of experience working with jewelry findings when I get to that point.
On to mugs...etc.
