I spent a lot of time taking pictures inside today so I thought I'd get outside and do the same. Really, I just wanted to get in a hike in the snow. We've had so little of it this year. This is one of the trails near my home- part of the North Country Trails. We're lucky to have several trails nearby.
I noticed the snow piled up on the fungus on this tree. Looked like it was served up on plates.

It has been a strange winter for sure. I used to love walking in the snow when we lived in snow country in the mountains of California, so quiet, clean and peaceful and your photos capture that so well.
